Rodin JS Kumar is a humanist and a pragmatist. He is an author, composer, music producer, publisher and bassist. Professionally qualified in accountancy, audit and finance, he is deeply passionate about the arts and considers them his second true calling in life, valuing the power of creativity and self-expression above all else.

Though a non-idealist, Rodin believes in exploring one's passions and talents and encourages others to do the same.  

​

He is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA, USA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA, USA) and is a postgraduate in Finance, MSc in Finance from the University of Leicester, UK.

 

He is a founder of the  KL International Jazz & Arts Festival (KLIJAF) as well as the KL Jazz & Arts Centre (KLJAC) that houses the KL City Art Gallery and the Kind A  Blue Jazz Club.  He is also the President of the KL Jazz & Arts Club.
